VVDN Technologies is set to open a new electronics manufacturing plant in the UAE within four weeks as part of its global expansion plan. The facility aims to strengthen production across multiple sectors such as telecoms and medical technology.

VVDN Technologies, a renowned Indian electronics design and manufacturing company, has announced plans to inaugurate a new production facility in the United Arab Emirates within the next month. This strategic move is part of VVDN’s broader initiative to expand its manufacturing capabilities and meet growing international demand.

Headquartered in Gurugram, VVDN specializes in providing comprehensive product engineering, software development, and manufacturing services. The upcoming facility will be equipped with cutting-edge technology for printed circuit board (PCB) assembly, automated product assembly, mechanical manufacturing, as well as testing and validation processes. These capabilities will support production across various sectors such as telecommunications, medical technology, automotive industries, cameras, and industrial automation.

VVDN Launches UAE Production Hub

The decision to establish the plant in the UAE stems from its advantageous position bridging East and West. This location facilitates enhanced market access not only to the United States but also Europe and the Middle East and North Africa regions.

“The launch of VVDN’s new manufacturing facility in the UAE marks a significant milestone in our expansion journey,” expressed Gourab Basu, Senior Vice President for Manufacturing Commercials at VVDN. “The UAE offers an exceedingly favorable environment for manufacturers due to its strategic location, sophisticated infrastructure, and burgeoning local market. This endeavor underscores VVDN’s commitment to bringing manufacturing operations closer to our global clients while addressing rising demands for top-tier solutions delivered swiftly.”

Currently operating 11 research centers alongside eight factories in India, VVDN maintains a robust international presence spanning North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific regions including Vietnam, South Korea, and Japan.

The UAE facility is poised to enhance VVDN’s "backward integration" strategy by enabling more stringent supply chain control and expeditious delivery timelines.

Established in 2007 with headquarters situated both in Gurugram and Fremont, California, VVDN Technologies offers an extensive range of services from hardware development and embedded software solutions to cloud-based offerings alongside rigorous testing methodologies culminating into mass manufacturing capabilities.
