Dubai invites global tech innovators through DCAI's accelerator program focused on advancing government services with cutting-edge AI solutions.
In an ambitious move, the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI) has officially opened applications for the second cycle of its "Future of AI in Government Services Accelerator" program. This initiative invites global tech innovators and AI firms to develop state-of-the-art solutions in collaboration with over 20 government entities.
The accelerator, launched alongside Dubai Future Accelerators-an arm of the Dubai Future Foundation-is a pivotal element of the ‘Dubai Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence’. This strategic plan seeks to position Dubai as the leading global hub for AI-driven advancements across vital sectors.
The program prioritizes four key areas:
- Enhancing personalization and efficiency in existing services
- Developing new AI-powered solutions to tackle unresolved challenges
- Improving operational efficiency within routine government processes
- Broadening accessibility to ensure all community segments can access services
AI's Role in Dubai's Future
Chosen participants will receive direct access to high-level decision-makers and mentorship from AI and industry experts, enabling them to pilot their innovations hands-on with governmental teams.
DCAI notably takes no equity stake, allowing innovators full ownership of their creations. Participants are invited for an eight-week residency from October 6 to November 28, 2025, complete with sponsored travel and accommodation. This enables them to focus entirely on developing their projects in a real-world government setting.
The inaugural cycle saw participation from 615 AI companies across 55 countries, resulting in 183 use cases-of which 75 have been piloted successfully.
Saeed Al Falasi, Executive Director of DCAI, remarked: “The Future of AI in Government Services Accelerator is designed to foster innovative applications of AI that help establish Dubai among the globe’s elite cities known for agile public services characterized by speed, quality, and efficiency.”
He added that this effort aims at creating seamless experiences that enhance life quality while making Dubai one of the happiest places globally. Applications remain open until August 28, 2025. Interested AI companies can apply through the DCAI website for a chance to play a role in shaping the future of public services within the emirate.
