The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has forecasted a gradual increase in temperatures starting today, with a notable drop expected by Thursday, accompanied by strong winds carrying dust and sand across parts of the UAE.

According to the NCM’s latest weather bulletin, today and tomorrow will be humid in the early morning hours, particularly over internal regions, with a chance of fog or light fog formation, while the daytime weather is expected to remain generally fair and stable.

The forecast indicates that winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly, blowing at speeds of 10 to 25 km/h, occasionally reaching 30 km/h. Sea conditions will remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.

By Wednesday, the weather is expected to remain mostly sunny with occasional partial clouds, especially in eastern areas. Winds will shift to southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate in speed, with some occasional daytime activity.

Come Thursday, temperatures will begin to fall, and the weather will be mostly sunny with some patches of clouds. The northwesterly winds are predicted to strengthen, ranging from 15 to 30 km/h, and may reach up to 40 km/h in certain areas, leading to dust and sand being stirred up, especially in open desert zones.

The sea state is expected to remain slight to moderate, but could become occasionally rough in the Arabian Gulf, while conditions in the Oman Sea will stay mild to moderate.
