The National Center of Meteorology has forecast relatively unstable weather conditions across the UAE from today, Saturday, through February 25, marked by recurring morning humidity and chances of fog formation over several coastal and inland areas.
The outlook also indicates slight fluctuations in temperatures and varying sea conditions, requiring extra caution during early morning hours, particularly for motorists.
According to the forecast, Saturday will begin with humid conditions and a possibility of fog or light fog over some coastal and inland regions, before gradually turning fair to partly cloudy later in the day.
Winds will be north-easterly to north-westerly, light to moderate in speed, occasionally becoming active at 10 to 25 km/h, reaching up to 35 km/h. Sea conditions will remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
On Sunday, fog or light fog is expected again during the morning over some coastal and inland areas, accompanied by fair to partly cloudy skies and a slight drop in temperatures.
Winds will shift to north-westerly to south-westerly, light to moderate and occasionally active, maintaining speeds between 10 and 25 km/h with gusts up to 35 km/h. The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Sea of Oman.
Similar conditions are anticipated on Monday morning, with fog or light fog over some coastal and inland regions, followed by fair to partly cloudy weather.
Winds will remain north-westerly to south-westerly, light to moderate and occasionally active at 10 to 25 km/h, reaching 35 km/h, while the sea will stay slight in both water bodies.
By Tuesday morning, fog or light fog may once again affect certain coastal and inland areas, followed by fair to partly cloudy conditions and a rise in temperatures.
Winds will become south-easterly to north-westerly, light to moderate at 10 to 20 km/h, with gusts up to 30 km/h. Sea conditions will remain slight in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
On Wednesday, humid conditions are expected in the morning with a continued chance of fog or light fog over select areas, before skies turn fair to partly cloudy later in the day.
Winds will be south-easterly to north-westerly, light to moderate and occasionally active at 10 to 25 km/h, reaching 35 km/h. The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Sea of Oman, maintaining the pattern of relatively changeable weather through the forecast period.
