Government and private schools following the Ministry of Education curriculum have introduced a specialized reporting form to address any abuse students may face during distance learning, marking a significant move toward strengthening a safe digital learning environment built on respect and shared responsibility between schools, families, and students, while addressing emerging challenges in virtual education settings.

School administrations confirmed in official communications to parents that the initiative is part of ongoing efforts to enhance students’ psychological and social well-being, while closely monitoring behavioral challenges that may arise in online learning environments, ensuring that students receive proper protection and support.

The newly launched electronic form is designed to measure awareness levels regarding available reporting mechanisms and to further improve these systems to ensure rapid response to potential cases, providing timely and effective support that reinforces trust within the educational community.

Schools urged students and parents to complete the form accurately and transparently if exposed to any type of abuse, whether verbal, psychological, or online, emphasizing that all submitted data is handled under strict confidentiality and privacy standards, and reviewed seriously by specialized teams within each school to ensure appropriate action is taken in line with approved educational policies.

They also highlighted that the results of the survey will be used to develop awareness and guidance programs, strengthen communication channels with students, and provide psychological and social support where needed, aligning with a broader educational direction that prioritizes digital safety, activates the role of school social services, and promotes a respectful and secure learning environment that supports continuity and academic success.
