Abu Dhabi Police has announced a major step to expand traffic points services in Abu Dhabi by inviting the public to use dedicated platforms at Hili Mall in Al Ain, operating every Thursday and Friday throughout April, reflecting a new approach to delivering traffic services in Abu Dhabi.
Abu Dhabi Police confirmed that traffic services in Abu Dhabi will be available from 4 PM to 10 PM, giving drivers greater flexibility to access traffic points services in Abu Dhabi in convenient locations without visiting traditional service centers across Abu Dhabi.
Brigadier Mahmoud Yousef Al Balushi stated that traffic points services in Abu Dhabi include driving license recovery in Abu Dhabi for drivers who reached 24 traffic points, requiring registration, payment of AED 2400, and attendance of a rehabilitation course under Abu Dhabi traffic regulations.
Traffic points services in Abu Dhabi also allow reducing traffic points in Abu Dhabi by 8 points for drivers with 8 to 23 points after registration, paying AED 800, and completing the required course, followed by updating the traffic record within Abu Dhabi traffic systems.
Abu Dhabi Police emphasized that offering traffic points services in Abu Dhabi inside malls supports community engagement, enhances traffic awareness in Abu Dhabi, and strengthens the smart road safety strategy in Abu Dhabi, improving road safety and quality of life across the emirate.
