Sharjah Airport has launched a groundbreaking Home Check-In service, enabling travelers to complete travel procedures from the comfort of their homes before heading directly to passport control. This innovative feature is part of the airport's efforts to enhance passenger convenience and efficiency.

This initiative forms a significant part of Sharjah Airport’s digital transformation strategy, aimed at streamlining travel processes and alleviating congestion during busy periods, thereby ensuring smoother journeys for all passengers.

Convenient Remote Check-In

The new service allows passengers departing from Sharjah Airport to conduct check-in procedures remotely, including obtaining boarding passes and arranging baggage drop-off. A dedicated team from the airport picks up luggage directly from passengers' residences, workplaces, or hotels, allowing travelers to proceed straight to passport control upon arrival at the airport.

The Home Check-In service can be reserved via the official website or by contacting 800745424. Passengers may also use the “SHJ Home Check-In” mobile app. Booking must be completed at least eight hours before flight time, particularly beneficial during peak travel seasons.

Variety of Pricing Packages

Sharjah Airport offers flexible pricing options based on luggage quantity:

  • Coral Package: AED145 ($39) for one to two bags
  • Silver Package: AED165 ($45) for three to four bags
  • Gold Package: AED185 ($50) for up to six bags

An additional fee of AED20 ($5) per extra bag applies in accordance with airline policies. Initially available in select city areas, there are plans for future expansion.
