The National Center of Meteorology has forecast unstable weather conditions across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi over a full week with intermittent rainfall of varying intensity that may at times be accompanied by hail in certain areas along with active winds that will fluctuate in strength throughout the period from Saturday March 21 until Friday March 27 creating conditions that require heightened awareness and preparedness from the public.

According to the forecast these weather developments could lead to reduced horizontal visibility at times due to dust and sand carried by active winds particularly in open areas which underscores the importance of adhering to safety guidelines while driving and commuting and staying continuously updated through official communication channels to better respond to evolving weather conditions during this period.

The National Center of Meteorology urged community members to exercise extreme caution on the roads and comply with adjusted speed limits that may be enforced depending on weather conditions while also stressing the need to avoid valleys and flood-prone areas and never attempt to cross flowing water under any circumstances in addition to ensuring the availability of first aid kits and backup lighting equipment in both vehicles and homes as a precautionary measure.

The authority further revealed that a joint assessment team meeting for weather and tropical conditions was held in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior the National Center of Meteorology and other concerned entities where initial data and projections for the upcoming week were thoroughly analyzed monitoring efforts were intensified and business continuity plans were activated when necessary with outcomes indicating potential rainfall accompanied by hail and dusty winds while also emphasizing the importance of disseminating public safety guidelines through official platforms and reinforcing that individual compliance with preventive measures remains the first line of defense in ensuring overall safety.
