Dubai’s RTA offers free Wi-Fi at 43 transport hubs, enhancing commuter connectivity.

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has introduced free Wi-Fi access at 43 major transport locations throughout the city, enhancing connectivity for commuters. This initiative covers 21 public bus stations and 22 marine transport hubs, providing travelers with online access through smartphones, laptops, and tablets.

The launch of this service, in collaboration with e&, is a part of RTA’s expansive digital transformation strategy. This move is aimed at enhancing mobility and daily commuting experiences, aligning with Dubai’s goal to become a global leader in smart and connected urban living.

Officials from RTA have confirmed that the Wi-Fi service will undergo regular monitoring and upgrades to ensure it offers high-quality and uninterrupted connectivity. The authority plans to extend the service further across the public transport network, continuously improving the infrastructure supporting Dubai's bustling urban environment.
