If you’re a resident of Sharjah, you might already be familiar with the convenience of the ‘Digital Sharjah’ app, Recently upgraded, the app now offers a broader range of services to help residents handle various essential tasks within a single, easy-to-navigate platform. Designed as a consolidated access point for several local and federal services in Sharjah, the Digital Sharjah app lets users rapidly finish daily chores while guaranteeing top-notional security, The app reflects Sharjah's larger digital transformation objectives by combining cutting-edge technologies with intuitive design.

New Personalized Dashboard
One of the most significant additions to the new version of the app is a personalized dashboard, enabling users to keep important digital documents—like their Emirates ID, driver's license, and car registration—in one place, This dashboard also provides real-time notifications for upcoming renewals and allows users to pay for services with ease. The dashboard stores various important documents, including:
- UAE passport (for citizens)
- Emirates ID
- Car registration
- Driver’s license
- Parking permits (where applicable)
- Convenient Service Access for Everyday Needs
The updated Digital Sharjah app offers a variety of features and services that help residents manage daily tasks more conveniently:
- SEWA (Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority) bill payments
- Payments for telecom services, both e& and du
- Traffic fine payments
- Vehicle registration and related updates
- Accident reporting via Rafid
- Road complaint filing for unsafe or damaged roads
These features are available to users anytime and anywhere, simplifying essential processes for Sharjah’s residents.
Future Projects
Lamia Obaid Al Shamsi Director of the Sharjah Digital Department spoke as well about forthcoming initiatives at Gitex Global 2024 that would simplify launching businesses, buying or leasing property, and accessing critical data within Sharjah. Developed by cooperation across several government ministries, these projects are a part of Sharjah's continuous digital transformation, The Gitex Global exhibit of the Sharjah government highlighted many of these upcoming projects.
"I am grateful to all government entities that supported the Sharjah Government Platform at Gitex Global 2024," Al Shamsi said, expressing her thanks for the cooperative efforts behind these projects. Their efforts have been very important in highlighting Sharjah's digital developments, improving services, and improving the quality of life for our citizens, guests, and investors.
