Dubai introduces its first fully autonomous AI-powered parking system.

Parkonic, a leading provider of smart parking solutions in the UAE, has partnered with Salik Company PJSC and Dubai Holding to launch the region's first fully autonomous, AI-driven parking system. This innovative project is set to cover more than 36,000 parking spaces across Dubai’s most prominent communities.

This groundbreaking initiative aligns with Dubai’s Smart City 2030 strategy and Future Mobility Vision. It offers a ticketless and barrier-free experience that eliminates the need for manual inspections. Parkonic supplies the cutting-edge AI software, while Salik's payment infrastructure facilitates instant, cashless transactions. Drivers can now enter, park, and exit without any physical interaction.

The integration of this system prevents overstays and potential fines through real-time monitoring and billing, ensuring a smooth departure process. It also features multilingual interfaces to accommodate an international audience.

This transformative approach aims to enhance mobility, efficiency, and accessibility for both residents and visitors. It contributes significantly to reducing congestion and supports Dubai’s ambitious Net Zero objectives-an important milestone in forward-thinking urban planning.
