Dubai Electricity and Water Authority organizes annual summer programs focusing on sustainability, artificial intelligence, robotics, and more to empower the youth.

The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) annually hosts a series of activities and events designed to engage the youth and individuals with determination during their summer breaks. These initiatives aim to enhance both theoretical and practical skills across various domains such as sustainability, artificial intelligence, robotics, engineering, science, and mathematics. Moreover, they are intended to foster team spirit, instill responsibility, and reinforce national identity alongside noble Emirati values.

Among the prominent events are the summer camp for determined ones, orphans, and employees' children; the 'Engineer of the Future' camp; along with educational lectures held both in-person and virtually for school and university students. In collaboration with diverse governmental and private entities within the UAE and specifically in Dubai, these activities engage all community members in improving electricity and water consumption efficiency while preserving natural resources. These events comprise a variety of dynamic activities including workshops, programs, field trips to notable Dubai landmarks for firsthand exposure to pioneering experiences. Held within an inclusive recreational-educational environment, they nurture creativity among youth by providing interactive spaces that enhance communication skills while raising awareness about sustainability concepts as well as environmental protection.
