In a continued effort to enhance traffic flow and optimize the use of public parking spaces, Q Mobility has announced the activation of its paid parking system in several areas across Abu Dhabi Island, effective July 10, 2025.
According to the company, the new implementation will cover Eastern Mangrove, Dolphin Park, and three key sectors along Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street, including Khaleej Al Arabi Park 1, 2, 4, and 5, as well as Al Qurm Plaza. Parking charges will be applied in accordance with the existing regulations in the Emirate.
The announcement follows the successful completion of infrastructure preparations, which included curb painting, the installation of directional signage, and the distribution of awareness brochures to the public.
Q Mobility emphasized that this initiative is part of its broader strategy to improve the parking experience for users, while ensuring a more efficient and organized use of public parking spaces - ultimately contributing to smoother traffic and better urban mobility.
The company urged all users to adhere to the signage instructions and make use of digital payment options available through the “Darb” app, which facilitates seamless transactions for parking services.
