Bahrain’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa held an important phone call with Kuwait’s Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah amid escalating regional tensions, as the communication came at a critical moment following recent security developments that have significantly impacted the Gulf region and triggered widespread concern.

During the call, Bahrain’s Crown Prince strongly condemned the Iranian attacks targeting Kuwait, describing them as a serious violation of international law and a direct threat to regional security and stability, especially after the attacks resulted in injuries to ten members of the armed forces and targeted Kuwait International Airport along with several key civilian, economic, and vital facilities.

Prince Salman emphasized Bahrain’s unwavering support for Kuwait, reaffirming full solidarity and standing firmly by its side in confronting these challenges, while backing all measures taken by Kuwait to safeguard its sovereignty, national security, and territorial integrity, reflecting a unified Gulf stance against shared threats.

For his part, Kuwait’s Crown Prince expressed appreciation for Bahrain’s supportive position, highlighting the importance of such solidarity during critical times, and stressing that the current phase requires intensified coordination and cooperation among Gulf nations to effectively respond to evolving security risks and reinforce regional stability.
