Authorities stressed the need for drivers to reduce speeds on both internal and external roads under unstable weather conditions while maintaining a safe following distance between vehicles to prevent sudden accidents caused by skidding or reduced visibility as driving during rainy conditions can present significant challenges that require heightened caution and awareness.

Abu Dhabi Police also highlighted the importance of strictly adhering to safety guidelines and instructions issued by relevant authorities and warned against approaching areas with flowing valleys or water accumulation zones which may pose direct danger to both drivers and vehicles particularly during rapid weather changes that could lead to sudden rises in water levels.
