The UAE has revealed the launch of the National Orchestra of the United Arab Emirates, a major project meant to support the growth of several artistic disciplines and enhance the cultural scene of the nation.

 Declared on Friday under the sponsorship of Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs for the United Arab Emirates, this initiative aims to increase the country's cultural visibility worldwide as well as locally.

Emphasizing the aim of supporting local culture and the arts, Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, the Minister of State and Chair of the National Orchestra's Board of Directors, stressed in her announcement The orchestra seeks to create close ties with different world civilizations and present Emirati arts to the globe on a stage.
