Fuel prices for August were announced by the United Arab Emirates on July 31.

On August 1, ten years ago, the United Arab Emirates announced that it will de-regulate fuel prices to match international rates.  Rates are now updated at the end of each month.

The following updated rates will take effect on August 1st:

In July, Super 98 gasoline cost Dh2.70 per litre; now, it costs Dh2.69.

In contrast to the current price of Dh2.58 per litre, special 95 petrol would cost Dh2.57.

The price of E-Plus 91 gasoline will be Dh2.50 per liter, as opposed to Dh2.51 per liter in July.

In contrast to the existing cost of Dh2.63, diesel will now be priced at Dh2.78 per liter.

Stable petrol prices help keep transportation costs and the prices of other items under control because they have a significant impact on inflation.  With an average price of Dh2.58 per litre, the UAE remains one of the top 25 nations in the world for the lowest petrol costs.
