The UAE Ministry of Defense mourned a Moroccan civilian contractor who was martyred during a routine mission in the Kingdom of Bahrain following an Iranian missile attack targeting the country.

The ministry confirmed that the attack also resulted in injuries to five members of the UAE Ministry of Defense while performing their duties under challenging conditions.

It expressed sincere condolences to the family of the victim and wished a speedy recovery for the injured personnel affected by the incident.

In a related development UAE air defense systems intercepted five ballistic missiles and seventeen drones launched from Iran during recent operations.

The ministry stated that interception systems successfully neutralized these threats as part of ongoing efforts to secure national airspace.

Since the beginning of the attacks the UAE has dealt with 357 ballistic missiles 15 cruise missiles and 1806 drones targeting the country.

These figures highlight the scale of ongoing security challenges and the intensity of the current escalation.

The attacks also led to the martyrdom of two armed forces members who lost their lives while carrying out their national duty.

Six civilians were killed and 161 individuals were injured with varying degrees of severity across multiple nationalities.

The ministry affirmed that the armed forces remain fully prepared to respond decisively to any threats and ensure national security.

It reiterated its commitment to protecting sovereignty stability and vital national interests against any hostile actions.
