The UAE is gearing up for a spell of unsettled weather conditions starting Friday, extending into the middle of next week.

The National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA), in conjunction with the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) and other agencies, has alerted the public to anticipate several days of challenging weather across multiple regions.

Forecasts predict convective cloud formation resulting in rainfall varying in intensity over northern, eastern, western regions, and some inland areas.

These conditions are likely to be accompanied by strong winds capable of causing flying debris and reducing visibility due to associated downdrafts.

Weather Warnings

The seas around the UAE are expected to turn rough with heightened wave activity in both the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman during periods when clouds are most active.

Authorities have assured that all necessary measures are in place to manage any potential developments arising from these conditions.

Continuous monitoring is underway through coordinated efforts between federal and local bodies.

The NCEMA urges residents to heed updates issued by the NCM via official channels. Public safety advice includes avoiding waterlogged areas during heavy rainfalls and exercising increased caution throughout this period.

Daily Weather Outlook

Saturday: Expect fair to partly cloudy skies with possible rain-triggering clouds especially towards eastern and southern parts of the region.

Temperatures may dip slightly as southeasterly winds shift northwesterly at speeds reaching 45 km/h amid dusty spells. Maritime conditions may worsen intermittently along both coasts.

Sunday: Conditions remain largely unchanged with a chance for cloud developments bringing rain northwards, eastwards, internally, and around some islands.

Wind speeds could rise up to 50 km/h under cloudy skies affecting dust levels noticeably.

The sea state continues its fluctuation between moderate to rough phases.

Continuing Concerns

Monday: Similar patterns persist with cloud formations expected mainly northward extending internally where they might trigger rainfall events.

Variable wind directions continue swaying between southeast to northwest intensifying temporarily when coupled with clouds causing visibility challenges on roads alongside marine areas experiencing turbulent seas occasionally.
