Emirates Health Services (EHS) has reinforced its commitment to improving medical fitness services for granting and renewing resident permits, unveiling substantial changes to its fast expanding "Wiqayati" program, which consists of 20 specialized sites across Dubai and the Northern Emirates.

The program has become one of the UAE's most notable projects, focused at offering a smooth, integrated experience for residents and visa applicants, and reflects the country's continuous commitment to digital transformation and world-class healthcare services.

Abdulla Al Naqbi, Executive Director of the Supportive Health Services Sector at EHS, noted that Wiqayati is a forward-thinking concept that aligns with the national vision "We the UAE 2031," particularly in terms of increasing quality of life and the whole customer journey.

He stated that the capacity to conduct medical fitness tests in less than 24 hours demonstrates the institution's commitment to putting consumers first by implementing smart technology, streamlining procedures, and speeding up service delivery.

Today, Wiqayati is one of the quickest and most trusted places to get medical fitness certificates. Its authorized facilities do over 2,500 tests every day, aided by cutting-edge technology such as AI-enabled X-ray image analysis, which guarantees accuracy and speed.

The program also provides a spectrum of services geared to address the requirements of individuals with hectic schedules, including:

  • Home medical testing for those renewing their resident permits
  • Mobile medical units visit firms directly to do staff checks.
  • Customer-friendly centers provide privacy, comfort, and speedier service completion.

The 20 Wiqayati facilities are carefully situated around the UAE to ensure easy access for all citizens.
