The ministry clarified that the sounds heard in several areas across the UAE during recent hours were the result of interception operations carried out by air defense systems targeting ballistic missiles, in addition to fighter jets engaging and neutralizing hostile drones and cruise-type aerial threats detected in the airspace.

The office stated that the incident resulted in the death of a Pakistani resident who was inside the vehicle at the time the debris struck.
