The UAE Ministry of Defence has released detailed information regarding the latest attacks targeting the United Arab Emirates, confirming that the country’s air defense systems detected seven ballistic missiles earlier today.

According to the official statement, six of those missiles were successfully intercepted and destroyed by air defense units, while one ballistic missile fell within the territory of the UAE.

Authorities also reported significant drone activity during the same period. Air defense systems detected a total of 131 unmanned aerial vehicles, commonly referred to as drones.

Of these, 125 were intercepted before reaching their intended targets, while six drones ultimately landed within the country’s territory.

The Ministry of Defence further revealed cumulative figures since the beginning of what it described as Iranian attacks. According to the ministry, a total of 196 ballistic missiles have been detected during this period.

Defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed 181 of them. Additionally, 13 missiles fell into the sea, while two ballistic missiles landed inside the UAE.

Regarding unmanned aerial threats, the ministry confirmed that 1,072 Iranian drones have been detected since the attacks began. Air defense systems successfully intercepted 1,001 of those drones, while 71 drones fell within UAE territory.

The ministry also confirmed that eight cruise missiles were detected and destroyed during the same period.

The attacks resulted in three fatalities involving individuals of Pakistani, Nepalese, and Bangladeshi nationalities. Authorities also reported 94 minor injuries among residents of multiple nationalities. Those injured include individuals from the UAE, Egypt, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Pakistan, Iran, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, Yemen, Uganda, Eritrea, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Bahrain, the Comoros Islands, and Turkey.

In its statement, the UAE Ministry of Defence emphasized that the country’s armed forces remain fully prepared to confront any potential threats targeting the nation.

Officials confirmed that military and security units continue operating at the highest levels of readiness to respond decisively to any actions aimed at undermining the country’s security or stability.

The ministry stressed that safeguarding the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the United Arab Emirates remains a top priority.

It added that the country’s defense infrastructure is operating in close coordination with all relevant authorities to ensure the continued protection of national interests, critical infrastructure, and the safety of residents amid evolving regional developments.
