In a heartbreaking road accident that occurred this morning in the Sultanate of Oman, three Emirati citizens lost their lives following a collision involving three vehicles on Sultan Said Bin Taimur Road, just past the Muqshin area in Dhofar Governorate. The incident took place around 7:00 AM.
According to a statement issued by the Royal Oman Police, the crash resulted in five fatalities, including two Omanis and three Emiratis, while 11 others sustained various injuries. Among the injured were two Omani nationals and nine Emiratis, including five children.
Initial reports confirm that emergency response teams quickly arrived at the scene, transferring the injured to nearby hospitals for medical treatment, while authorities launched an investigation to determine the circumstances and causes of the accident.
