The Ministry of Education has announced changes to today’s examination schedule in all public schools, as well as private schools following the ministry’s curriculum, in response to unstable weather conditions and out of concern for student safety.

The decision coincides with flexible measures implemented by several schools earlier this morning after dense fog formed in some areas, causing traffic delays that affected students’ ability to arrive on time.

According to the circulars sent to parents and students - reviewed by Emarat Al Youm - exams for Grades 3 to 11 will now begin at 10:00 AM, while Grade 12 exams are scheduled to start at 1:00 PM.

School administrations emphasized that the exceptional weather conditions require understanding regarding any delays, noting that rescheduling the exams aims to ensure a smooth testing process without disrupting students or their families, while maintaining continuity of the educational process.

Both the ministry and schools expressed their appreciation to parents for their cooperation and understanding, reiterating that student safety remains the top priority, and wishing all students success in their exams.
