The Ministry cautioned that financial penalties will be levied on enterprises that fail to fulfill these standards beginning January 1, 2026. 

The Ministry stated that enterprises with 50 or more workers must boost the Emiratization rate in skilled occupations by 2% by the end of the year. 

It also emphasized the need for businesses with 20 to 49 workers participating in high-growth economic sectors to hire at least one Emirati person while retaining their present Emirati staff until the beginning of 2026.
