Due to unrest in the area, Emirates Airlines said on October 2 and 3 that flights to various nations will be suspended or cancelled.

Airways Etihad

Because of the present regional situation, Etihad Airways stated on October 2 that it will be canceling its route to and from Tel Aviv.There has been a cancellation of flight numbers EY593 from Abu Dhabi to Tel Aviv and EY594 from Tel Aviv to Abu Dhabi. With flight number EY535 from Abu Dhabi to Beirut and flight number EY538 from Beirut to Abu Dhabi cancelled from October 1 to 7, 2024, Etihad Airways declared that its flights to and from Beirut will remain cancelled till October 8.

According to the airline, "passengers on transit flights in Abu Dhabi and their final destination Beirut will not be accepted for travel from the departure airport, unless they have made their own travel arrangements from Abu Dhabi, and affected passengers should contact booking agents for alternative travel options or Etihad Airways call center, or visit the company's website etihad.com, or via the mobile application" .

Changing directions

Due to airspace limitations in certain parts of the Middle East, Etihad Airways announced that several of its flights will be redirected on Tuesday, October 1, and Wednesday, October 2.

"We continue to constantly monitor the situation in the region, keep in close contact with the relevant authorities regarding developments, and this action is likely to lead to delays and adjustment of a number of flights over the coming days,"she added.

Emirates announced in a press release that all flights to and from Iran's Tehran, Jordan's Amman, and Iraq's Basra and Baghdad would be canceled on October 2 and 3.
"Customers in transit through Dubai who have final destinations in Iraq, Iran and Jordan will not be allowed to travel to their point of departure, until further notice,"the firm added.

Flight cancellation

A number of flights were canceled today, Wednesday, October 2, according to the airline. These flights included EK 837/838 Dubai ‐ Bahrain ‑ Dubai, YEK855/86 Dubai ‑ Kuwait ‑ Dubai, YEK31/32 Dubai ‑ London Heathrow ‑ Dubai, and YEK866/867 Dubai ‑ Muscat ‑ Dubai.

Arabia Air

Air Arabia, on the other hand, declared that its flights to Beirut will remain suspended.

Flydubai acknowledged that on Tuesday evening, October 1, some airfields were temporarily closed, affecting the company's operations.

According to an official from the firm, "flydubai flights FZ 143, FZ 157, and FZ 728 returned to Istanbul International Airport, Ankara International Airport to Dubai, and Amman International Airport, respectively."

October 2 and 3 Flydubai flights to Jordan, Iraq, Israel, and Iran "with the exception of Bandar Abbas, Kish, and Lar" were canceled, he claimed, and travelers to these locations would not be accepted.
