The Emirates Human Resources Development Council has partnered with Unilever to empower Emirati talent in the private sector through a five-year agreement focused on job opportunities, skill enhancement, and knowledge transfer.

Dubai: The Emirates Human Resources Development Council has signed a five-year memorandum of understanding with Unilever General Trading. This strategic partnership aims to support and empower Emirati talent within the private sector and establish a framework for cooperation that targets promising job opportunities for national professionals. The initiative also seeks to enhance their professional skills and unleash their creative potential, aligning with Dubai's ambitious vision for human capital development.
Under the terms of the agreement, both parties will collaboratively focus on nurturing and employing Emirati talent by launching joint initiatives designed to attract national competencies. Additionally, they will develop training programs and facilitate the transfer of knowledge and expertise.
Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al-Falasi, Vice Chairman of the Emirates Human Resources Development Council, stated, "This partnership represents a qualitative leap in our mission to develop our national talent. It reflects our deep commitment to empowering Emirati professionals and honing their essential skills for creativity in dynamic and innovative workplaces."
On her part, Shazia Syed, General Manager of Unilever Arabia and Unilever Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Turkey, as well as Head of Personal Care, commented, "This memorandum of understanding reaffirms our firm commitment to the sustainable development of national talents, as demonstrated through our ongoing graduate program (U4YOU), which prepares local talents for future leadership roles."
Launched by Unilever in 2022, the U4YOU graduate program serves as the foundation for this collaboration. It provides UAE graduates with a remarkable two-year job rotation opportunity across key business departments including supply chain, marketing, finance, and customer development, accompanied by tailored training and developmental programs.
