'Ishy Bilady' Echoes Nationwide: Sheikh Abdullah Invites Millions to Sing as One on Dec 2

DUBAI – Tomorrow, Tuesday, December 2, the United Arab Emirates will witness a historic display of unity. At exactly 11:00 AM, the entire nation is invited to pause and join together in one voice.

In a powerful initiative to mark the 54th Eid Al Etihad, residents across all seven emirates-from busy streets to quiet homes-are called to sing the National Anthem, Ishy Bilady, simultaneously.

The Official Call

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, took to platform X on Monday to remind the public of this synchronized moment. His message was clear: this is a time to reflect "the spirit of unity and belonging" that defines the UAE.

Adding to the momentum, residents across the country received SMS notifications on Monday, urging them to participate in this "powerful echo that carries through every home, street, and city."

Everyone is Invited

This initiative is not just for citizens. The UAE has explicitly invited its diverse community of expatriates and visitors to take part.

To ensure everyone can join in, the anthem has been made available with phonetic transliteration in English. Whether you speak Arabic or not, the goal is for every voice to be heard.
