The school fees card in Dubai's private schools for the 2024–2025 academic year was approved by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) and launched at the start of the current school year to give parents access to all the information on their children's fees.

According to the authorities, the fee card covers all required school expenses that have been approved ahead of time, along with optional payments for extracurricular activities, school trips, transportation, and books. It further explains that parents can obtain all of its contents at any private school in Dubai.

Regulating and approving mandatory fees

The authority clarified that while optional fees are typically associated with services that are rendered by the school or another organization and are not related to the process of providing the educational curriculum, they are subject to the terms and conditions of other contracts between the school and The Guardian. The authority further clarified that its role is to regulate and approve mandatory fees.

Unique fee card for each class

It was emphasized that every private school in Dubai has a unique fee card for every class, which is given to parents prior to the start of the school year and is linked to the agreement between the parents and the school.
According to the authority's official website, the school fees card is good for one academic year.
