Riyadh Air has inaugurated its first luxury lounge, the "Hafawa Lounge," strategically located between Terminals 1 and 2 at Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport.

Spanning nearly 2,000 square meters, this lounge represents a significant milestone for Saudi Arabia’s burgeoning national airline, as it seeks to elevate premium hospitality standards within the Kingdom's aviation sector.

The facility is exclusively available to Riyadh Air’s Business Elite and Business Class passengers.

The term “Hafawa” translates to warmth and hospitality in Arabic, encapsulating Riyadh Air's dedication to offering an exceptional guest experience that marries traditional Saudi culture with forward-thinking innovation.

The lounge's design was entrusted to the acclaimed global studio Yabu Pushelberg. It features a sophisticated use of limestone, oak wood, bronze accents, and textured plaster finishes. Drawing inspiration from the desert landscapes of Saudi Arabia, it evokes movement and limitless potential through wind-sculpted organic forms that create both grand and intimate spaces.

A traditional welcome awaits guests upon arrival with authentic Saudi coffee and premium dates-a nod to the Kingdom's renowned hospitality traditions.
