Registration for the inaugural Snow Running Race in May is now open, according to the Dubai Sports Council.

The sixth edition of the "Dubai Snow Running Race," the first of its kind in the Middle East, has officially opened for registration, according to Majid Al Futtaim and the Dubai Sports Council.  On May 18, this thrilling event will take place at Ski Dubai, which is situated in the Mall of the Emirates.
There are two racing categories available to participants: one that covers 5 kilometers and the other that covers 3 kilometers.

All community members who are 16 years of age or older are welcome to attend, regardless of their nationality.

With the chance to run on snow in a setting where interior temperatures will drop to -4 degrees Celsius, this unusual competition offers a unique athletic experience, further solidifying Dubai as a top sports tourism destination.

Until May 15, 2025, anyone who wants to participate in the race can register.  Ski Dubai welcomes runners between the ages of 13 and 70 to participate in regular morning training sessions, which involve trekking exercises on the hill, in order to help them get ready for this remarkable sports event.
