In an official statement on the platform X, the ministry emphasized that this measure is part of efforts to enhance public safety and preserve social calm, calling on individuals to avoid any misuse of the national alert system tones.

The ministry confirmed that violations of these instructions may lead to legal accountability, urging the public to act responsibly and maintain awareness when sharing or using digital content, while noting that such cases can be reported by calling 999.

In a related development, Qatar Ministry of Defense announced that the country was targeted today by a number of drones launched from Iran, reflecting ongoing regional security tensions.

The ministry stated that Qatari armed forces successfully intercepted all the drones, reaffirming full readiness to protect national airspace and ensure the country security and stability against any threats.
