The Fujairah Police have successfully apprehended a gang specializing in robbing bank customers through deceptive means. This achievement, realized just three hours after the crime was committed in the emirate, adds another milestone to the Ministry of Interior's distinguished record.

Brigadier Dr. Ali Rashid Bin Awash Al Yamahi, Director General of Police Operations in Fujairah, detailed that the incident unfolded on Thursday morning, October 23. At precisely 10:50 AM, the operations room received a report from a female bank customer who had been cunningly robbed of AED 195,000. One of the assailants misled her by claiming there was an issue with her vehicle's rear tire. As she checked the tire, another culprit seized the opportunity to steal the money from her car and fled.

Colonel Saeed Obaid Saif Al-Kindi, Director of Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, stated that a specialized team was immediately deployed to track down the suspects and gather intelligence. Within merely three hours, they accurately identified them as individuals already wanted for similar offenses in another emirate. Coordinating swiftly with Sharjah Police led to their arrest and transfer to relevant authorities for further legal proceedings.

The Chief of Fujairah Police commended the investigative team's professionalism and field readiness, highlighting their ability to swiftly resolve complex cases. He emphasized that this accomplishment underscores the efficiency of security agencies under the Ministry of Interior and embodies its vision to enhance safety and protect society.
