Apart from the parking adjustments, Sharjah Police have made plans for the New Year 2025 celebrations and implemented a thorough traffic and security scheme to guarantee safety and seamless operations all throughout the emirate, Director General of Operations and Security Support at Sharjah Police Brigadier Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al Naour acknowledged that the police force is totally ready to handle traffic and security during this peak. Particularly around important celebration venues, the security plan has been created to handle the anticipated traffic and public gatherings.

One of the main components of the strategy is sending more traffic patrols and security agents all across the city. Key locales holding significant events and celebrations—including well-known locations like the Al Heera Corniche, Al Buhaira Corniche, and Khorfakkan Corniche—where fireworks displays will take place will especially get particular attention. Police will also track traffic on outside roads to guarantee that there are no disturbances, therefore preserving public safety.

Modern technology including sophisticated surveillance and communication systems will be used by Sharjah Police to assist these initiatives. These technical instruments will enable faster reactions to any crisis and improve cooperation across several departments engaged in the operation. Through fast and effective resolution of problems, the force is dedicated to preserving public safety all through the celebrations.

Apart from the security precautions, the police department has worked with various important partners to guarantee a whole approach to the celebration of the occasion. Among these partners are Rafid Vehicle Solutions Company, Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority, Sharjah City Municipality, Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority. This cooperation seeks to guarantee that the rising demand can be met by all public services and infrastructure, therefore preserving operational efficiency over the vacation period.

Particularly at celebration places, Brigadier Al Naour has advised the public to assist law enforcement officials and follow traffic rules and safety precautions to prevent congestion and guarantee their personal well-being, Maintaining seamless operations and reducing the possibility of mishaps or disturbances during the celebrations depend on public collaboration. The police will also be handling reports and complaints, professionally and urgently attending to any public concerns expressed.

While non-emergency problems can be reported via the 901 helpline, the public is recommended to call 999 to access emergency services, Sharjah Police hope to keep a high degree of security and safety across the city during the New Year celebrations by offering these outlets.
