Conducted by R.Evolution in partnership with YouGov, this research highlights a notable shift in the UAE property market towards residences that blend conventional luxury with health-oriented features.

Wellness Drives UAE Real Estate

The survey’s findings show that 92 percent of participants consider indoor air quality to be “extremely” or “very” important for their health, with 93 percent placing similar importance on access to purified water at home.

“At R.Evolution, we have always maintained that properties should not merely be places to live, but environments where individuals can flourish and enjoy a higher quality of life,” stated Alex Zagrebelny, Founder and CEO of R.Evolution.

The data indicates that 90 percent of residents value natural light and fresh air in their homes, while 75 percent are inclined toward nature-inspired designs, including indoor plants and views of greenery.

Additionally, 68 percent deemed wellness amenities such as spas and meditation zones as significant to their living experience.

Approximately half of respondents reported knowing about the concept of ‘Longevity Real Estate,’ which focuses on constructing homes that support long-term health and quality of life. Nearly 50 percent indicated they would be “extremely likely” to pay a premium for homes designed to enhance physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Eywa: Dubai’s Wellness Redefined

In response to this growing demand, R.Evolution has introduced Eywa, a residential project situated in Dubai’s Business Bay.

Set to be completed in 2026, Eywa stands out as the region’s sole residential development to achieve both WELL Platinum and LEED Platinum certifications.

The construction features a 16-tonne Crystal Pyramid that houses 3,355 crystals and semi-precious stones, which the developers claim work to purify energy and enhance focus, sleep, and cellular health.

The residences include advanced air and water filtration systems, soundproof walls, terraces adorned with greenery, and private plunge pools. Additionally, the development offers amenities such as 24-hour concierge services, in-house chefs, and facilities for children.

Eywa has formed partnerships with clinics specializing in longevity and traditional medicine, allowing residents access to personalized health recommendations, which range from DNA testing to Ayurvedic treatments.

The development also emphasizes sustainability, featuring a self-cleaning terracotta façade that negates the need for chemicals and an irrigation system that utilizes 100 percent recycled water.

“We have been committed to residents’ well-being for decades, and the results of this survey affirm our belief that people desire more than mere square footage. We are witnessing a transformation, with an increasing number of developers prioritizing wellness in their properties to maintain a holistic balance of body, spirit, and mind. Eywa embodies this vision,” added Zagrebelny.

These findings suggest a redefined notion of luxury within Dubai’s property market, emphasizing health, significance, and harmony over mere size and aesthetics.
