Ras Al Khaimah has launched a new Golden Visa program aimed at public and private school educators.

Aimed at both public and private school teachers, Ras Al Khaimah has started a new Golden Visa scheme Announced by the Ras Al Khaimah Department of Knowledge (RAK DOK), this project provides long-term self-sponsored residency to educational professionals satisfying particular eligibility requirements. The program intends to give competent school workers a stable and long-term residence alternative and recognizes the great contributions teachers make to the local educational system.

The initiative seeks two primary groups of emirate teachers:

  • Key players in school management and leadership, school leaders include directors, vice-principals, and principals.
  • Teachers: Provided they satisfy the listed requirements, all qualified teachers actively employed in public or private institutions in Ras Al Khaimah qualify for the Golden Visa.

RAK DOK will oversee the application process to make sure applicants satisfy a set of particular criteria, including having at least three years of residence and employment in Ras Al Khaimah, holding an advanced degree relevant for their position, and proving a positive impact on the general performance of their university. These criteria highlight the emphasis of the program on keeping qualified and competent teachers who greatly help the educational growth of the emirate.

Teachers applying for the Golden Visa have to send various important records:

An formal letter of appointment in their current post
confirmed instructional credentials
Residency and work proof in Ras Al Khaimah
Documentation proving their help to raise the performance of schools.
Once all the necessary paperwork have been turned in, RAK DOK will review them and, should it be approved, inform the applicant. After that, successful candidates will go to the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP) for last handling of the Golden Visa.

RAK DOK board member Dr. Abdulrahman Al Naqbi said that this project acknowledges the vital contribution teachers make to furthering education in Ras Al Khaimah. "We are not only honoring their contributions but also confirming our will to create a strong educational framework that supports talent, creativity, and excellence inside our institutions by extending long-term residency to top teachers," Dr. Al Naqbi added. He underlined that the initiative aims to raise educational results for pupils and fits with Ras Al Khaimah's more general objective of creating a world-class education system.

The new Golden Visa program represents the emirate's commitment to improve its educational scene by giving teachers and school administrators stability and praise, thereby motivating them to help the learning environment to be as best as it might be. Offering long-term residence, Ras Al Khaimah is also hoping to draw in and keep top-notch experts who can help to support its goals for an elite educational system.
