UAE Declares Public Sector's Holiday for Hijri New Year 1447

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has announced a holiday for the public sector in observance of the Hijri New Year for the year 1447 AH. This holiday is set to occur on Friday, June 27, 2025.

This announcement means that public sector employees will enjoy a long weekend, as the holiday will extend from June 27 to June 29.
