UAE Airlines Extend Flight Cancellations Amid Rising Regional Tensions

Amid rising tensions between Israel and Iran, UAE airlines, including Emirates, Etihad, flydubai, and Air Arabia, have extended flight suspensions to various regional destinations to ensure safety and security.
The United Arab Emirates ' leading airlines have announced an extension to their existing flight suspensions amid deteriorating regional conditions due to tensions between Israel and Iran. Passengers with plans to fly to destinations within the affected areas have been advised to prepare for ongoing disruptions.
The airlines—Emirates, Etihad Airways, flydubai, Air Arabia, and Wizz Air Abu Dhabi—have collectively suspended their services to countries including Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, and Iran following the escalation of regional tensions.
Emirates Suspends Key Routes
Emirates released a statement indicating temporary suspension of flights heading to several regional destinations due to "the regional situation." Flight services to Amman, Beirut, Tehran, Baghdad, and Basra have been halted until further notice.
Passengers connecting through Dubai to a final destination in the suspended regions are required to make alternative travel arrangements and are encouraged to verify their flight status online for the latest updates.

flydubai has temporarily suspended flights to various destinations citing airspace corridor closures. Affected routes include flights to Jordan, Lebanon, Syria , Minsk, St. Petersburg, Iran, Iraq, and Israel.
