The UAE is set to experience light fog over its coastal regions from Monday to Wednesday due to weak surface pressure systems, with temperature highs reaching up to 48°C.

Abu Dhabi: National Center for Meteorology predicts light fog formation over some coastal and inland areas on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. This weather pattern results from weak surface pressure systems accompanied by an upper atmospheric high-pressure extension.
On Saturday, the highest recorded temperature in the country was 49.1 degrees Celsius in Sweihan, Al Ain, at 12:30 PM local time.
Maximum temperatures are expected to range between 35 and 48 degrees Celsius, while minimum temperatures will range from 23 to 33 degrees. The weather on Sunday is forecasted to be generally clear but partly cloudy over certain eastern regions. Winds will be from the southeast turning to northwesterly, light to moderate in speed, reaching 10 to 20, occasionally 30 km/h. Sea conditions will be light in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
For Monday, the weather will remain generally clear, with partial cloudiness over eastern areas. The night will bring humidity, persisting until Tuesday morning with chances of fog or light fog, especially over western coastal areas. Winds will shift from southeast to northeast, light to moderate, between 10 to 20, up to 30 km/h. Disturbance remains light over the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
On Tuesday, weather is expected to be mostly clear to partly cloudy, humid at night through Wednesday morning with a possibility of light fog on some coastal and inland areas. Winds will transition from southeast to northeast, occasionally northwesterly, and become active over the sea, at speeds from 10 to 25, reaching 40 km/h. The Arabian Gulf will experience light to moderate wave activity, while the Sea of Oman will remain slightly disturbed.
Wednesday's forecast anticipates overall clear to partly cloudy weather, with nighttime humidity lasting into Thursday morning, bringing the potential for fog or light fog in some coastal and inland areas. Winds will move from southwest to northwest, light to moderate, sometimes active, between 10 to 25, possibly 40 km/h. The Arabian Gulf is expected to see moderate to occasionally turbulent waves, especially in the west, while the Sea of Oman remains lightly disturbed.
