The Integrated Transport Centre in Abu Dhabi announces a new system for allocating parking spaces based on building type and size.

According to the "Abu Dhabi Transport" Integrated Transport Center, the distribution of floor parking spots in private buildings differs based on the building's construction date and type, including mixed-use, residential, and commercial structures. This strategy seeks to guarantee equitable use.
One free parking place is allotted to each unit in residential structures, starting with the ones with the most rooms and working down. Tenant seniority determines priority if all of the units in a building are the same size.
Parking in mixed-use (residential/commercial) buildings is divided into two sections. Using the same standards as residential structures, one free space is allotted to each residential unit in the first phase. According to larger to smaller floor area, any remaining spaces are divided among other occupiers (offices, commercial operations, and service activities) in the second phase.
The center also pointed out that, depending on the size of their spaces, parking spots in commercial buildings are given away for free to building residents engaged in service and economic operations.
