The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that public parking spaces all throughout Dubai would be free on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, in honour of the New Year celebration. Multi-storey parking facilities will still be subject to ordinary rates, though, Thursday, January 2, 2025 will see paid parking services returning as usual

Over forty-three hours of the holiday will be spent running Dubai Metro and Tram services nonstop, From five in AM on December 31, 2024, the Dubai Metro will run until the end of January 1, 2025, For those celebrating the New Year or traveling, Dubai Tram services will also be running from 6 AM on December 31 to 1 AM, providing easy transit.
During the holiday, the RTA has announced temporary adjustments to some public bus routes. The E100 line from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station will specifically be discontinued from December 31, 2024, until January 1, 2025. Route E101 from Ibn Battuta Bus Station allows visitors to Abu Dhabi another choice. In same vein, the E102 path from Al Jafiliya Bus Station would also be suspended during this period. Instead, travellers are advised to get the E102 from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Shabiya Musaffah.

Water Taxis will run on several routes, including on-demand services needing past booking (3 PM to 11 PM) and Marina Mall to Bluewaters (4 PM to 12 AM).
