The Kuwaiti army announced that a military unit inside Kuwait was targeted by a coordinated attack involving ballistic missiles and hostile drones, marking a significant escalation in regional security developments, as the incident resulted in injuries to 10 soldiers stationed at the targeted site.

Kuwait Ministry of Defense spokesperson Colonel Saud Al-Otaibi stated that during the past 24 hours, the armed forces successfully detected 14 hostile ballistic missiles and 12 drones that entered Kuwaiti airspace, confirming that air defense systems were activated in accordance with military protocols to counter the incoming threats.

According to the official statement, some of the projectiles managed to strike a military unit directly, causing injuries among 10 personnel, who were immediately transferred to medical facilities to receive treatment, while authorities continue to assess the situation and monitor the condition of those affected.

The statement, reported by Kuwait News Agency KUNA, further revealed that the attack also targeted warehouses belonging to a private logistics company, leading to material damage at the site without any reported human casualties, highlighting the broader scope of the attack beyond military infrastructure.
