The UAE Ministry of Defense announced that air defense systems intercepted 7 ballistic missiles and 16 drones launched from Iran during ongoing defensive operations.

The ministry confirmed that interception systems operated with high efficiency to neutralize incoming threats and protect the national airspace.

Since the beginning of the attacks the UAE has dealt with 352 ballistic missiles 15 cruise missiles and 1789 drones targeting the country.

These figures reflect the scale of the ongoing threats and demonstrate the effectiveness of the national air defense capabilities.

The attacks resulted in the martyrdom of two members of the armed forces while performing their national duty in defense of the country.

Six civilians were also killed including individuals of Pakistani Nepalese Bangladeshi and Palestinian nationalities.

Authorities reported 161 injuries ranging from minor to critical among citizens and residents from multiple nationalities.

The affected nationalities included Emirati Egyptian Sudanese Ethiopian Filipino Pakistani Iranian Indian Bangladeshi Sri Lankan Azerbaijani Yemeni Ugandan Eritrean Lebanese Afghan Bahraini Comorian Turkish Iraqi Nepalese Nigerian Omani Jordanian Palestinian Ghanaian Indonesian Swedish and Tunisian.

The ministry affirmed that the armed forces remain fully prepared to respond to any potential threats with decisive action.

It stressed that all measures will be taken to safeguard national sovereignty security and stability against any hostile attempts.

The UAE reiterated its commitment to protecting national interests and ensuring the safety of all citizens and residents.
