MADINAH - Authorities in Madinah have finished all the preparations to welcome the flood of pilgrims visiting the Prophet's Mosque after their Hajj ceremonies. This project highlights Madinah's commitment to provide the pilgrims post-Hajj a seamless and spiritually rewarding experience.
Under the direction of the Hajj and Visitation Committee Chairman and Emir of Madinah Region, Prince Salman bin Sultan, several organizations are putting in place thorough operational plans especially meant for the post-Hajj period. By Sunday night, Dhul Hijjah 12, first groups of returning pilgrims are anticipated to arrive by bus and the Haramain High-Speed Train.
While maintaining strict security and traffic management along the major roadways of Qassim and Tabuk heading into Madinah, efforts are under way to monitor and simplify field operations, therefore guaranteeing smooth traffic on main routes including the Hijrah Expressway.
Launched by the General Authority for the Affairs of the Prophet's Mosque, the integrated scheme aims to welcome pilgrims in a hygienic, safe surroundings. With 100 specially marked passageways controlled by spatial direction teams to guarantee orderly movement inside the mosque grounds, all 141 mosque doors will be opened, giving access for male and female pilgrims.
Prearranged visits on official applications will carefully manage access to Al-Rawdah Al-Sharif, therefore preserving crowd safety and providing a flawless experience. While Zamzam water bottles will be given to improve guests' spiritual trip, digital screens will tell them about specific entrance spots.
These combined activities are meant to enable optional prayers at Al-Rawdah Al-Sharif and give a maximum number of pilgrims the chance to greet Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) and his two friends.
