The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai recently inaugurated the Ibrahim Bin Wali Mosque, located in Umm Suqeim 3 within the Jumeirah Living City.

This initiative is part of their ongoing efforts to provide places of worship across the emirate, meeting the needs of residents while enhancing both the religious and architectural landscape of Dubai.

The mosque spans an area of 1,003.94 square meters and can accommodate up to 360 worshippers-290 men and 70 women. The total construction cost was AED 3,350,000, generously funded by donor Feroze Ibrahim Baksh. This project exemplifies the community partnership model that the department values, collaborating with benefactors to support charitable and endowment activities within the emirate.

The mosque stands out for its contemporary architectural style that reflects the essence of Islamic architecture in a modern framework. Its design aims to create a comfortable environment for worshippers with comprehensive facilities catering to their diverse needs. These include separate prayer halls for men and women, a spacious courtyard, residences for the imam and muezzin as well as support staff housing. Additionally, it provides ablution facilities, restrooms, and accessible areas for people with disabilities-aligning with the department's commitment to inclusivity and ease in its religious and service-oriented projects.
