Strict limitations on cabin baggage are scheduled to be enforced by Indian airlines, which forces travel brokers in the UAE to counsel their clients to follow these fresh guidelines. Introduced by India's Bureau of Civil Aviation Security, the revisions restrict cabin baggage to one piece weighing no more than 7 kg for both local and international flights.

Sales head of Dopamine Travels, Ramy Badr noted, "Most airlines have followed these practices for some time, so the effect on customers will be negligible."

Praveen stressed the need of controlling cabin luggage weight-a topic he often addresses with customers. He noted that although most airlines let a second laptop bag accompany cabin baggage, the habit of weighing laptop bags was not given much thought earlier. "We anticipate flights carrying cabin luggage as well as laptop bags starting weighing. Passengers should make sure the overall weight stays under seven kg or get ready to pay for extra baggage.

Those who used to bring several things on board could have difficulties under the new policies. Safeer said, "passengers who bring several items, such a laptop bag, backpack, and additional plastic bags, will need to adapt to these changes." Once the rules go in force, this practice is supposed to be limited.
