Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) declared a new two-lane bridge spanning 610 meters is scheduled to open on Sunday. Between Al Meydan Street and Ras Al Khor Street, this bridge will guide vehicles toward Deira.

It represents the fourth bridge built under the large Al Khail Road Development Project along the busy road, To increase traffic flow and ease congestion, this bigger project calls for the building of 3,300 meters of bridges and lane enlargement spanning around 6,800 meters.

As confirmed by Hamad Al Shehhi, the Director of RTA's Traffic and Roads Agency, final preparations for the bridge's opening finished on Saturday, Al Shehhi said the bridge, set to open on October 13, can carry up to 3,200 cars per hour.
