Flyadeal, the low-cost airline based in Saudi Arabia, is set to expand its international network with the launch of scheduled flights to Karachi, Pakistan, starting February 2.
This represents a major turning point in Flyadeal's continuous international development since it symbolizes the first-ever booked flights to Pakistan and South Asia.
The new route would link Karachi with two of Saudi Arabia's main cities-Riyadh, the capital, and Jeddah, a significant business center. The airline first intends to run the Karachi route twice a week, but envisions additional development. The action is part of Flyadeal's larger plan to become more visible over the next 12 months in South Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa among other areas.
Strong cultural and historical linkages between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan drove the choice to start the Karachi route, according to Steven Greenway, CEO of Flyadeal. The airline naturally developed these relationships in conjunction with a rising demand for air travel driven by business, family, and pilgrimages. Greenway thanked Pakistani officials and the Flyadeal planning team for their efforts in opening this new air channel. He also made hints about intentions to grow much further inside Pakistan, with more cities just around.
With earlier this year Hajj charters, Flyadeal has already shown its dedication to the Pakistani market, A significant success in the airline's development plan, the new planned flights to Karachi mark its first foray into South Asia with consistent services.
The airline's growth initiatives complement Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, which seeks to increase travel and draw over 150 million domestic and foreign tourists yearly over the next six years, Flyadeal helps the Kingdom's larger objective of being a worldwide tourism hub by reaching other countries.
Greenway further underlined that Flyadeal's main concentration in 2025 will be global expansion. Supported by a growing fleet of aircraft, the airline's next stage of development will see the inclusion of more international destinations as it has developed a strong domestic network inside Saudi Arabia, Apart from Karachi, Flyadeal intends to launch other routes throughout different areas, thereby strengthening its status as a top regional carrier.
Flyadeal runs about thirty year-round and seasonal routes within Saudi Arabia and to international locations in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa at current, Since its founding barely seven years ago, the airline has been steadily increasing; its expanding network is evidence of its effectiveness in satisfying the growing need for reasonably priced travel choices.
Flyadeal will start internal flights from its Dammam base early January, adding routes to Najran, Tabuk, and Yanbu as part of its continuous development inside Saudi Arabia, Beginning January 1, the airline will also launch routes between Riyadh, Jeddah, and Amman, Jordan. This development shows the airline's increasing will to improve connectivity both inside and outside of the area.
Travelers may easily reserve their flights to and from Saudi Arabia and its new foreign destinations by using Flyadeal's mobile app, internet, and local travel agencies since tickets for these new services are currently available.
