The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority has announced decisive measures against businesses that violate health regulations. As part of a comprehensive inspection campaign targeting food establishments across Abu Dhabi, the authority has ordered the administrative closure of five restaurants and a supermarket due to violations of food safety laws that pose risks to public health.

Specifically, three restaurants were shut down for breaching Law No. (2) of 2008 concerning food safety in Abu Dhabi and subsequent regulations, which deemed them hazardous to consumer health.
The establishments facing closure include Lahore Garden Grills, located in Al Khalidiya, with commercial license number 4904174 CN; Kark Future Cafeteria, situated on Abu Dhabi Island, West 4, with license number 3998230; Al Maqam Corner Restaurant in Musafah Industrial Area-37, holding license number 1066090 CN; Pak Raway Branch 1, also in Musafah Industrial Area-37, with license number CN-1895014-1; and Salty Desi Darbar in Musafah Industrial Area-40, licensed under CN-4978963. In addition, the Rich & Fresh supermarket located in Mohamed Bin Zayed City, East 9, with commercial license number CN-1750783, has also been closed.
The food safety report indicated that the administrative closure of these establishments was warranted due to repeated high-risk violations impacting food safety and consumer health, coupled with the establishments' lack of response toward rectifying these issues.
