The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai has achieved a remarkable milestone, winning an international award in the category of "Best Government Entity in Corporate Governance - Public Sector 2025" from the esteemed Global Banking & Finance Review magazine. This accolade marks the directorate as the first governmental body in the Middle East to receive such recognition, affirming Dubai's standing as a global hub for corporate governance excellence.
This triumph exemplifies Dubai's proactive approach to enhancing its institutional framework, aligning with the emirate's vision for innovation and excellence in government operations.
A Unique Model
Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General, expressed his pride in this achievement by saying: "We dedicate this honor to our wise leadership that has provided us with vision and support.
